Ellen (Cannon) Bley
Ellen Cannon Marries John Bley in Chicago
No record has been found of Ellen Cannon in Ohio. She and John Hugo Bley met in Chicago, Illinois. They were married there in 1856. Their first child, Mary, was born there. By 1860, they were living in Center Valley, Outagamie County, Wisconsin near Ellen’s parents, James and Mary (Lyons) Cannon. Her brothers, John and Patrick Cannon, were also living in the vicinity with their families. The rest of their children were all born in Center Township. Those that survived were: James, Eliza and Ellen. Pictured are the headstones of those who are buried in St. Edward Cemetery, Mackville, Wisconsin.
