Post Card Art

TOP:  An undated card to Emma from one of her sisters asking if this is what happened to Bert when he proposed to her.  It’s typical of the artwork and humor of the period.

BOTTOM:  A postal card to Bert from his (half) sister, Maria (Hill) Ullenbrauck, dated June 2, 1908 from Hatley, Wisconsin.  She asked if he had work and if they could come to visit.  She said that it was a year ago that they all came up to visit last.  She then expressed her love to all.
