Henry and Eliza (Bley) Glassnapp
ABOVE: Eliza Beth Bley about the time of her marriage to Henry August Glassnapp.
RIGHT TOP: Henry August Glassnapp before their marriage, February 11, 1896.
RIGHT BOTTOM: Henry August Glassnapp (standing in the center) when he worked in the north woods as a lumberjack. Note the heavy leather spatterdashes that the lumberjacks wore to protect their legs. Also note the big cigars. Henry had to quit lumberjacking because he couldn’t stand the cigar smoke in the cabin at night. Obviously he was contributing to the blue air.
